Today is the era of the Internet where digital purchases and downloads eliminate any need to install software from CD or DVD disks. Downloading software online is a simple and quick wat getting any application, but is that same safe as CD or DVD? When we purchase software outside the Internet we know that disk came from the publisher and no 3rd parties added malicious code inside. However, when we download the software online we are not sure if the code is original and not injected with malicious. Code Signing SSL certificates help publishers and software users to be sure that the files come directly from the publisher and are signed using a digital signature. We highly suggest not installing any software without author/published signature.
